The conference is being hosted by the East Midlands Police Collaboration Programme in conjunction with Police Professional. It is aimed at members of ACPO and Police Authorities as well as those involved in collaborative policing initiatives, at both strategic and practitioner level.
The conference will be split over two days, Day One will focus on strategic overviews from the Home Office, HMIC and ACPO with input from the East Midlands and other regions engaged in collaboration.
Day Two centres on a number of the collaborative successes achieved by the five forces in the East Midlands and also considers the position of forces looking at the diversity of collaborative options with other forces, including strategic partnerships and outsourcing. The NPIA will also provide an insight into the future beyond their organisation.
